It can still be a nice idea, what you did, except you will probably need to duplicate the code, one for the good guys, where the value will be +25000, and one for the villains, where the value oughta be -20000 (tho you're not supposed to do that on normal mode because it spawns Nemesis class enemies, and it can prolly be too hard to chew for a normal character. I don't think you can side with the enemy, as the game displays, it seems like you can only grow in enmity with the evil ones. Yes, indeed, some factions aren't supposed to be in positive, namely, the villain factions.

I made this cheat table quit a while ago but forgot to post it :p But since I have not played this game for a long time, I do not even know if all scripts work properly, so please, share your feedback. and if Crate doesn't think it's an issue they should concern themselves with I'd say others can (and should) easily apply the same mentality in regards to GD.Made initially for DLC "Ashes of Malmouth", the current CT should (in theory) work fine with the main game and all DLC's as well. The way I think of it in really basic terms is.GD is more like an Elder Scrolls experience than a League of Legends one. I understand that there is a subset of ARPG players that craves community competition/ladders/events, but that is not something GD was built around and other ARPGs already focus on it. If we added a check to test for edited characters when trying to play online, savvy players can very easily disable it or work around it (Torchlight 2 had something like this and it lasted about 2 days before a utility was out on the internet).

It's not our business to tell people how to have fun on their own PCs.Īs some have brought up adding some basic security measures into the game to combat cheating, which again goes against the fundamental fact that it prevents somebody from doing what they want with files on their own computer.

Grim Dawn is primarily a singleplayer experience created from the beginning with the mindset of letting the players mod and do what they want.
